Since 2003, I have been working as an independent attorney. Prior to that, I gained 6 years of international experience as a corporate lawyer in the European IT and telecommunications sector.
I graduated in law from the UGent and followed additional training courses in corporate and company law at the universities of Brussels and London.
I am the author and co-author of several publications in company law, in particular, about shareholder agreements and the validity of decisions of the general meeting.
Law can be a somewhat dry matter, but not if you have an eye for the purpose of the legal norm and for how it should be applied in practice. Still less if you also like to look at what happens in other countries in a practice field and if you do not shy away from a reasonable risk assessment.
